EastLink sponsors Frankston Arts Centre in 2022
EastLink is Frankston Arts Centre’s Principal Theatre Partner for 2022.
With Victoria returning to a sense of normality following the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns of 2020 and 2021, EastLink’s sponsorship will help Frankston Arts Centre reconnect with its audiences.
The performing arts sector was particularly impacted during the stop-start lockdowns and interstate border closures of 2020 and 2021, with performances unable to proceed for extended periods of time, frequently rescheduled and often cancelled completely.
Those performances that were able to proceed were mostly restricted to much smaller audiences than normal.
EastLink’s sponsorship funding will help Frankston Arts Centre deliver its Season 2022 program of performance.
Frankston Arts Centre’s Season 2022 is a curated program of performances carefully selected to provide audiences with diverse voices, stories and genres.
In addition to the sponsorship funding, EastLink will provide marketing support to Frankston Arts Centre, including emails to EastLink account holders about Season 2022 performances, and roadside billboards.
EastLink corporate affairs manager Doug Spencer-Roy said, “EastLink has supported Frankston Arts Centre since 2010.”
“Now we are privileged to be able to help Frankston Arts Centre reconnect with its audiences through a combination of new Australian work, thought-provoking classics retold, and surprising original creations.”
Frankston City Council manager arts & culture Tammy Ryan said, “EastLink’s support is invaluable in helping Frankston Arts Centre present a full range of theatre experiences to the community. We are delighted that EastLink values the arts and can assist us to reach more audiences and bring people safely to the theatre.”
